Dangers of Alcohol and Drugs
There are some types of drugs such as prescription medicine that should never be used with alcohol. Benadryl or dyphenhydramine may be one of these drugs. The reason for this is because Benadryl is a type of anti-allergy drug that may have some minor side effects on the human body. These side effects of Benadryl generally include drowsiness, anxiety, blurred vision, irregular heartbeat and motor impairment. Do these symptoms seem familiar? This is probably because they are quite similar to alcoholÂ’s effects on the body when you are drunk. This is why alcohol and benadryl can be a deadly combination. If you take in Benadryl while you are still intoxicated, the two drugs could enhance each otherÂ’s effects and cause severe complications. You may need to pay a visit to the hospital in order to recover. In fact, in the worst-case scenario, you could die. This is the reason why drugs and alcohol do not mix.
